You walk into the house through doors and windows of leaded glass. In the foyer you are struck by the beautiful curved staircases framed with sconces and mirrors. As your eyes travel up, you see the exquisite detailing on the ceiling and the huge chandelier. Mini balconies, pocket doors with unique and custom designs and the peacock leaded glass pocket doors that lead you into the main living or entertaining area complete the scene.
To your right is the two-story library with a spiral staircase to the second level. The upper level has two balconies where you can take a break and enjoy the view. The library is wired to have two computers on either side hidden away behind closed doors plus a comfortable sitting area before a large fireplace and a wet bar in one corner. The hall in the rear leads to a powder room, coat closet, and cleaning closet.
To the left is a large dining room with accent lighting in the two built-in wall units. A beautiful hand detailed accent wall houses a fireplace, copper coffered ceilings and two chandeliers which add even more elegance to the room. A turret in the corner can be set up for additional room for table and chairs. The back kitchen and laundry adjoin to the turret. The elevator is just outside the dining room. Another powder room is down the hall with closets and a staircase leading to the lower levels.
The kitchen and great room are all open concept with a large table, seating areas, coffee bar, a multiple computers desk along the wall for all the gamers. A small fireplace and television are on each side of the table, while a much larger television is at the far end of the great room. A lovely fireplace finishes the cozy feeling in the great room. A spacious balcony spans the length of the house. At one end, you'll find a table and chairs with an outside fireplace, various seating groups along the way and an outside stainless kitchen with two grills, hood vent, etc., which is located next to the main and back kitchens for easy entertaining.
On the second floor to the right of the elevator is an elegant suite with a handicap accessible roll in shower/steam room and Jacuzzi tub. This bedroom has a walk-in closet, charming turret sitting area and private balcony, built-in cabinets and fireplace. A laundry area is just outside the bedroom.
To the left is a second bedroom with walk-in closets, Jacuzzi with a small fireplace over the tub to relax and enjoy. The shower has multiple shower heads, steam room and dual sinks and vanity. The bedroom has a fireplace and two sets of French doors leading to the balcony that extends the length of the house. Outside fireplaces are on each end of the balcony running the length of the house. Above the fireplace, there is wiring capability for outside television.
The master suite has a sitting room connecting to the bedroom with two French doors. This room has a unique fireplace made out of black stargazer quartz cut in a starburst design. A wet bar, fridge drawers, dishwasher, and microwave make it convenient for late night snacks. The bedroom also has an interesting tile fireplace. Sitting room, bedroom, and bathroom all have leaded glass doors leading to the balcony. The bathroom is beautifully done with custom designed cut glass shower/steam room, Jacuzzi with accent fireplace, dual decorative metal sinks and vanity. An adjoining closet located just on the other side of the bath has been left unfinished to provide choice of whether it will be single or divided to his and her closets.
From the hall you have access to the upper library and a stairway leading up to the third floor with the same decorative risers as the foyer stairs. Down the hall, you'll find additional access to the foyer staircases--or take the elevator to the third floor.
The third floor opens into a hall. To your left is a game room big enough for pool table, card table, or whatever your pleasure. Across the hall is a 5500 square foot unfinished area with bathrooms stubbed out at each end waiting for the new buyer to determine its fate-three bedrooms, or two with an adjoining sitting room, or ballroom, offices, etc. Windows along the back give you views of the lake, woods, and surrounding mountains. This area has access from both ends of the house. Just past the unfinished space, a gallery of artwork winds around and down a long hallway. The gallery leads into the sitting area with an outdoor turret and great views. A kitchenette connects the sitting room to another bedroom suite with a large balcony, fireplace, walk-in closet, twin sinks, Jacuzzi, and shower. A laundry room is located outside this room. Across the hall is a huge workout room with wet bar - again with great views and balcony. Outside the workout room is a bathroom, shower, and hot tub in which to relax after your workout.
Next, take the elevator to the mezzanine level that houses all the electrical and HVAC systems and has a huge storage area. If you want an indoor pool, one can be put in across the road - preparation for an underground tunnel for this purpose has been made. Down the hall, you are led to the upper level of the guest plaza. Lighted peacock stained glass, iron gates, tables, chairs, and balcony overlook the guest plaza connected by another beautifully curved staircase.
The lower level plaza gives the illusion of two-story faux storefronts, fountain, and colorful umbrella tables and chairs. Movie posters and a glamorous lighted cinema sign lead to a piano theatre foyer and set the stage for a true box office experience. The cafe has a bar, fireplace and a snack bar to the left of the foyer. The theatre has 21 seats, elegantly appointed with red curtain. It has two entries and an emergency rear exit through the Tiffany store. The coffered starlight ceiling is phenomenal.
Down the mirrored and stained glass chandeliered hallway to the left are two bathrooms decorated in keeping with the theatre theme. A sitting room is across the hall with an adjoining bathroom, sink and tub connecting to a bedroom still in progress. All areas lead out to a patio that looks over the yard, reflecting pond, and back patio. There is another bathroom with shower tucked behind the guest plaza leading to a four car garage.
Outside are unfinished areas for additional 6-car garage, additional outside staff parking, and a generator that powers the entire house in the event of power outage.
